Rough idle valve question
I have an 87 F150 with a 351W HO 4bbl Carb.
I have a "flutter" I can hear in exhaust at the back of the truck, with a slight roughness at idle. At speed, it runs smooth. Today I noticed some noise, not a tick necessarily, but maybe something slightly loose from psgr side valve cover area. (Hard to put into words)
I checked for vacuum leaks, and timing is correct. I've been told this might be valve related. If so, are we talking spring or more?
