pillar pod problem

pillar pod problem
hey i just bought a pillar pod and i was wondering if anyone had to trim their oem pillar plastic down to allow their pod to fit? i got a tripple pod and it doesnt seem to fit worth a crap any ideas? i will try and post some pics this afternoon

A pillar pod
Where did you buy your guages and pod and what type of vehicle are you putting them in. I bought mine from Diesel Manor.com. They are a site sponcer here. The fit and finish was great and the price was good also. The only problem I had was making a big enought hole in the oem piece for the guage plugs to pass through, other than that it was a piece of cake.

its an autometer but it doesnt fit over the original a pillar very well it has funny gaps thought maybe i was doin something wrong but it seems so simple i dont know how you can screw it up? does anybody have pics of theirs o and its an a 02 ford f250 7.3
