Back up lights
Has anyone installed back up lights in the panel below the tailgate on a 48 F-1. I am looking for some that would be oval or maybe round but can't sem to locate them. I am open for any suggestions or help. Thanks, Larry.

Hi Larry,
I don't see any reason why you can't do this. That piece is fairly thick but hollow and the wiring for your right tail light should be in there anyway.
The lights you are talking about would have to be fairly small - less than 2" high.
I'll look on e-bay for you and see what I can find. Also, they make lights that go into the ends of you bed sides upper roled edge - they cap the tube ($110 !!!!!). Might be an option as well - either on the bed or in the back end.

You can try searhing this site to see if there is anything that would work, I used backup lights from a 2005 pontiac grand am on my 56 panel.
