DIY - Replace Suspension Bushings?

I replaced the anti-sway bar bushings & grommets on my 1993 E350 based Class C RV this summer with Energy Suspension ploy bushings. What a positive difference .... and thanks to help from this forum.

Now I'm thinking about replace all of the suspension bushings myself as they are starting to show their age and wear signs. I have access to jacks, stands, wrenches, air powered tools etc.

Is this a DIY job or should I leave good enough alone? ~ bugjr ~

there will be a lot of labor...if it aint broke dont fix it...rear leaf spring bushings can be a real pain and last forever i think unless the bolt gets seized in the bushing...what other bushings are u talking about?

What other bushings you ask ... well ... I'm not 100% sure. (noobie here) Energy Suspension sells a kit that has about a dozen different bushings in it.

Without crawling underneath my rig to have a look (it's parked offsite), I'm assuming there are a number of other bushings that potentially could be replaced and with a rig that's 15 years old, I was wondering if this type of project is common.

u should check your rear of rear spring shackles...they might be real rusty and might need to be replaced as well as the hanger rivited to the frame...ive done this a couple times and it sucks...if it looks good leave it alone it aint worth it because u wont notice any difference in ride

if you go through front tires constantly then the replacing the axle pivot and radius arm bushings will help only if it gets aligned correctly which might be all it needs anyway
