Question question on installing gauges

i just got my gauges can't wait to see the boost and egt when i start rollin' but a few questions before.
1. how can i make the tee for the map sensor wire?

2. also are these instructions from a 99+{www.smokyvalley.com/gauge_install.htm} gonna be useful for a 96?

For the boost gauge, you want to tee into the map sensor hose, not the wiring. In one of his pics you can see the fitting needed for the map sensor hose- if you need a better pic I can try to get one off my SD for you. Those instructions should work fine for you, but you'll probably have to hunt a little for the wires to tap into under the dash.

Here's one that was written for the OBS trucks. It shows how to wire the lights so they dim with the rest of the dash lights.
