DIY Black Headlights

DIY Black Headlights
I did the DIY black headlights and the first one went fine but the second one not so good. When I took the tape off to get ready to put back together some of the silver/chrome paint came off. Does anybody know if they have a spray paint like this or am I just screwed. Either put it back in like it is or buy a new light. thanks for any help

just paint the entire thing black then. I'm guessing you did yours like mine then?
the OEM black headlights are 100% black. I left a little of the silvery stuff on my heads for some contrast

I DID use painters tape and yes tylus that is what I am going to do. I thought at first that you left it like that because it was part of the reflector. Later I realized that oem's where all black so I am going to do that. I liked the way you had yours like you said a little bit of contrast. Thanks guys.
