Help with GPR, please.

I just replaced my gpr with a stancor yesterday, from mouser. while I was installing the new one I accidently touched the big wire with one of the small wires and it made sparks. the truck started fine afterwards but it wasn't cold at the time. this morning in the cold it didn't start and when I looked under the hood the small wires that go to the small posts were fried. What did I do wrong? was it the touching of the wires together, or did I wire it wrong? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

There's no way to wire it wrong as long as the big wires are on the big posts and small on small. Just repair the damaged wires, check the fuses and try again.
