bedliner question

my 05 shortbed currently has a rugged liner bedliner that it had on it when i bought it. i really don't like it and was looking into spray on or roll on liners. i don't want to go a spend a couple hundred dollars and get line x or rhino lining, so i was looking at herculiner. has anyone ever used this before? is it easy to keep clean? is it worth getting rid of my existing bedliner?

If you go up to the "Search" in the top bar and search on Herculiner, you will find numerous threads that discuss this and other brands of roll on bedliners.

Do the spray on. It is worth the money. To do the herculiner right it would take a lot of time and effort and still wouldn't be half as good as a quality spray on.

Spray in liners are the only way to go. Roll ons tend to peel out when you don't do some pretty careful prep work

By replacing your existing bedliner, I assume you have a drop-in liner? Yes, it is worth replacing it, drop in liners, even the best fitting ones I have seen, do damage to the bed. They wear away the paint underneath, and that can allow water to get trapped underneath them and corrode.

If you install a paint saver high density foam pad under your drop in liner it will prevent damage to the bed and will probably cost $30.00-$60.00. Dan.
