Hi
Just got a 5er and everything works fine until last weekend. Did a check on lites ,all fine,35 feet later I lost brake lite (only) on driver side. I replaced ( 4 diff ones) no work. Does the brown on the 7 pin control brake lites as well as tail lites?I have not installed a elect. brake system yet, I just need to be legal on the road. I`m the first to admit I`m not inclined in this matter so any help, ideas is great
Believe it or not, there is a separate fuse for left and right. According to my manual in the power distribution box under the hood...
Position.....Amp......Description
20............7.5A*....Trailer Tow Stop /Turn LH
22............7.5A*....Trailer Tow Stop /Turn RH

I don`t have a manual, so I can`t read (follow) which is which but I was not getting a reading at all nos.1 & 3 as they are 7.5 fuses. The nos. 20 & 22 are 30amp fuses. I`m heading to store for a couple 7.5 `s drop em in see what happens
