I want to change the 8 bold hubs on my f-250 to 5 bolt hubs mainly because I cannot find any damned rims with 8 bolts. Where can I find hubs that would fit properly?
I dont have any links handy, but any of the off road magazines have loads of adds for wheels, depending on what you want. Ill bet JC has them. You may have to look for a slightly newer year to be in their databases. Im sure some guys here know how new you can go. You could buy factory wheels on ebay for a newer rig as well.
Newer superduty rims won't fit,,,they are a metric bolt pattern. But try americanracing.com....or tirerack.com for 8 bolt rims. You won't be able to swap 5 bolt hubs over on to a 3/4 ton pick up....
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-14-03 AT 10:51 AM (EST)]Anything up to a superduty should work for ya. There were lots of those with factory aluminum rims in the 90s.
Also you could go to Summit Racing, they have some.
