cd error "initializing"
when I try to play the cd player or eject or load a cd the screen says initializing for a few seconds the goes away and nothing happens. With the truck off and you open the door there will be noise like the cd player is loading or unloading a cd for a few seconds then it quits. Any Ideas as to the problem?

It's broke.
Try removing the radio and unplugging it. I've seen my radio initialize after reinstalling it. Do you have a CD stuck in it? The media can be out of spec and jamming the unit up. I have a special pair of tweezers that are bent up to retrieve stuck CDs.
