Looking to downsize...need advice
Hello all,
I currently own an '06 F350 CC DSL and have been thinking about downsizing to an F-150 Super Crew. Since, to me at least, the previous generation F-150s are better looking trucks than the current generation, I've decided to look at 2002 and 2003 Super Crews. Problem is, I've only owned Super Duty diesels and don't know much about the F-150s. Aside from trying to get a low mileage truck, what else should I look for as far as potential problems, issues, etc.

Try to get an 03 if possible. It will have more sparkplug threads in the heads.
Mainly just check for loose ball joints and exhaust manifold studs that may be broken off causing an exhaust leak when cold.
Try to find one with 3.73 gears if possible.
