How to permanetly disconnect the backup warning system

I have read where a lot of Ford truck owners that have the BUWS want to disconnect it other then pull the fuse which controls other things. My BUWS is nipples skyward so I need to fix it. So I found the control module is located to the right of the tire jack. Remove the tire jack and you will see a box mounted to the quarter panel. If you remove the connector the BUWS is dead. Removing the connector is a little tricky. If you look on top of the connector you will see a little button above a lever. Push the button in and raise the lever. The connector will be pushed out of the box connector using the lever.

OBTW - if you do not want the control module, just get a flat blade screwdriver and pry behind the body plugs. It will pop right off. Also, since mine is broke, if you don't want it anymore PM me and I'll send you a shipping address.
