Next Level
I intend sticks and turbo to be Level Three but for the next mods I am thinking the HPX mod which I pretty well understand and it does not sound too terribly difficult.
My query is about the regulated fuel mod. I get the principle but am a bit confused about how to go about it. I take it that the "Hutch Mod" as described by Guzzle is the same as the regulated fuel kit that is sold by the likes of ITP. Correct?
Although I can McGyver the parts together, my time is pretty valuable so I would buy one of the kits like ITP has in order to save time. I have done a ton of reading on the regulated fuel mod but still have not arrived at a conclusion which is the best kit out there.
Thusly, I would appreciate your input as to which kit you all would recomend based upon your experience. My primary consideration is ease of installation as my reading indicates to me that doing this mod is approaching the limits of my abilities. Thank you in advance.
The Hutch mod deals with the leaky fittings between the tank and the fuel pump along with the problems with the fuel pickup in the tank.
Regulated fuel is all on the engine, as it address' the dead head fuel rails on the cylinder heads along with the ability to adjust your fuel pressure supplied to the injectors.
Dennis at ITP has kits for both issues.
