351-400M AC bracket/compressor options? - AZ
hi everyone.
I am in the process of restoring a 79 F150 4x4 flairside.
and can use a little guidance.
I rebuilt the 400M, and was wondering if there was a way of installing a more modern compressor and a nicer looking, lighter weight bracket for it as well.
i am going to be running the truck in the desert here in AZ and want to lighten it up as much as I can.
The battery is being moved to the right rear, under the bed, between the frame rails, the intake and heads are aluminum and help, but the compressor is HUGE! and HEAVY! as is the 5lb. bracket!
found out the AC is dealer installed, NOT factory installed. (bracket looks home made). does anyone know what the factory style bracket looks like? or where it can be found?
AC is converted to R134
