Once again, a testament to Excursion and F series truck safety. F250 hit head on by a Nissan Sentra in a 55 mph zone.
The truck is hardly bruised, the Sentra is totally devastated. Sentra driver killed on impact. So sad.
On another note, goodness, I can hear 6686L already. Something along the lines of that were all dumb for believing were invincible in our poorly engineered Excursions.

Just don't drive it upside down and you'll be okay!
I know a couple of the folks that worked that accident, driver of ford had your standard rapid deceleration injuries and a couple cuts....was able to self extricate
lucky on the health side, yet still going to be scarred for life

hehe I'll try him...
You guys think you are so safe. It could have easily been the superduty crossing over into oncoming traffic and hit an 18wheeler. The only reason the guy in the superduty wasn't KILLED is becuase he wasn't lifted on big tires. Had he been it would have rolled over.

haha
He might have rolled over if he didn't have a big enough lift, unlike me, if I hit a Nissan Sentra head on I'm going to drive over the top of it.

Thanks for saving me the trouble. My point exactly.
I've never been a fan of the small cars. It's unfortunate to hear of things like this. This weekend a buddy of mine was in a head on accident, luckily he made it through it, but he's beat to hell. Maybe if he were driving a full size rig instead of his Toyota 4runner, he would have faired alot better against the jeep that hit him.

My point exactly. Had he been in a F250 or Excursion, he would have faired a whole lot better.
Makes the sucki-sucki gas mileage worth it in the end.
