RE:Tranny Trouble
Since I posted tranny trouble this morning I have found out what was wrong. I went out and started looking around and just happen to notice that the drivers side of my motor was a little higher than the other side. I crawled under the truck and seen that the motor mount bolts and some how come out over the course of time and my motor has raised up and the mount was resting on the oil pan lip!!!! I jacked up the motor and loosened the frame bolt on the mount and moved it out of the way, set the motor back down and rustled up a bolt that fit and tightened it up. When i got in and started it, it went right into gear!!! The only exception is that since I re-welded the shift stick back on, it had to be placed a little lower in order to weld it and it hits my seat going into first. My seat is back all the way by the way. Small problem compared to what I thought I was facing. It was just in a bind the whole time. I just wanted to let you all know before anyone went through any trouble trying to figure it out.
Rollin' again!!!,,
Michael
