Maybe someone has an idea here, my power door lock switches and power sunroof switch rarely lights up. Every once in a while, one of the switches will light up and either stay lit until I turn the truck off, or slowly dim out. The fuse/relay is good, grounds are good, I applied power straight to the switch and it still would not light up. I think the switches are bad, but am second guessing myself when they occasionally light up. Power window/sliding rear window switches work fine. Any ideas?
the lights in the switches are known to fail. My driver's window switch light went out, the switch still worked though, and the dealer replaced it for free under warranty.
Now I'm out of warranty and the lock/unlock button on the passenger door no longer lights up but the switch still works. I don't care about buying a new one at this point.
If you want to see your switches light up again, you'll have to buy new ones. Or check ebay for used switches. (assuming you're out of warranty)
