Bully Dog Triple Pup
I am conducting some research on performance chips that are easy to use and will add some fuel economy increases. My daily Driver is a 7.3td with 153k. I really don't want to add any strain to the tranny or install any tranny mods because I am not planning on beating on the truck. Is it safe to install the triple dog chip with an outlook monitor and not have to worry about dropping my tranny? Also, does anyone have any experience with this particular combo? Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can't say how the Bully Dog tuner will work for the 7.3, but I had it for my 6.0 as the first tuning mod that I did. While the power was decent and I don't have any complaints, when I got custom tunes, it was a totally different ballgame and that is what I would recommand that you do and not "settle" for pre-fab'ed tunes.
DP is the one that most 7.3 guys that I have talked to recommand. I do know that Matt(Spartan Diesel) is getting things done to do custom tunes on the 7.3s with his new tuner(but who knows when that would come into fruitition, I do like his tunes as his are the ones that I use so I had to add a plug about his tuner). However, as far as right here and now custom DP tunes is the way that I would consider just based on what the 7.3 guys that had tuned their trucks are saying.
