89 f350 reg. cab 8 ft. bed 351w with headers. Looking to replace my hacked up exhaust. Dual pipes no cats. with flowmaster mufflers.
Local speed shop got a price about 200 for a header back dynomax set. Thinking of adding a a high pro. cat and a new dynomax ultra flo x muffler. if your exhaust rotted a way all at once what would you do? Not looking for a extremly loud truck just want to keep nice rumble. Also looking to not block my fuel tank like the one in there now. Would not might either side or pass exit only, what have you used or found to work.
well, whatever I did, I would get custom made. If I wanted the dual tailpipes, I would use a muffler that has a dual outlet. By running just a single pipe back, you only need one cat and one muffler, plus less pipe and bending. You seriously won't notice a performance difference versus the duals. Its less expensive and works at least as well.
