Looking for information on converting 2wd to 4wd

I am looking for information on converting a 73 F250 2wd to 4wd. If anyone can offer any or point me to any books or documentation I would appreciate it. I will be doing the work myself. I found a front end for $250 am looking for transfer case etc. I have never done one before so am looking for information on all those little things I might not think of or know about. Thanks Blayne. email: hawkiye@usewest.net

Dale is right. Converting the 71 twin I beam is a challange. Anything is possible but some things are better left alone. Find a 4x frame and build from there. Good luck. Rick
