460 Swap again......
Here is the scenario:
1978 F150 4wd with 300 and 4-speed.
1974 F250 with 460 and C6
I want to put the 460 in the 1978 and change over to a C6.
My Questions:
1. I have a rear c6 housing from a 4wd, but I'm assuming that the output shaft on the 2wd model will be different, so I'm assuming I need to find a 4wd C6 tranny?
2. I have an auto column and pedal assembly from the 74. Will that bolt up?
3. I'm assuming I will have to change the oil pan out to one to clear the diff?
4. Will I need to change the motor perches on the frame?
5. Am I missing anything?
