After looking at these, I think it would be better to put a cup holder in the spare area on top of the radio opening.
Geez. You oughta become an aftermarket 80-86 ford truck parts dealer.
Hmmm.My truck is radio delete, but it didn't have that ford oval on it.Just custom on top where you'd put a cup holder. What year and package truck did that come off of?

I already am.

It's not your ordinary radio delete. It can be added to any bezel with the DIN style opening. It just snaps right in.
Uncle Stosh the bezels were already hacked ,i justed evened it up. The xls emblem can come off. If you took a woodgrain bezel and stripped the contact paper off,you could paint it aluminum and add the xls emblem.

Sorry, my bad. I guess I missed that part. Doh!
They are ultra-rare and if they were nice, would be worth some coin. I'd love to have a set of those for the 80 flare side that I'm building. Flat black and aluminum would be schweeeeeet.
The woodgrain bezels are not contact paper BTW and they don't come off. They are painted on there like that. I guess I could easily paint a set of them, but I just can't bring myself to ruining a nice set of OEM woodgrain.
I personally don't care for the woodgrain, but apparently a lot of people do.
My woodgrain has blisters and peels off. The plastic is all tan and smooth and shiny. I am going to do the woodgrain on my door panels with aluminum paint. I will let you know how it turns out.
I was just thinking about having 2 heavy cans in the holders plus the weight of the radio only being held up by the two screws that hold the top of the bezel on.
They are prone to cracking there, and I would support the back of the radio to help hold everything up.
Hey Stosh do you know if you can take the wait to start/water in fuel/water temp lights off a diesel and use them on a bezel from a gas? They go right where the little dish is for change and junk. My woodgrain panels are broken and look purple. I cant find any good ones around.
