1969 power steering
i have a 1969 f-100 stright 6 240 with manual steering what is evolved in putting in power steering. someone told me its just a swap of the steering box but that just dont sound right to me.

when i did mine it was just swap the boxes then add a pump. i went with the power steering column from ididit, i wanted crome, tilt and they have one made for these trucks. the problem i ran into was my engine has a serp belt setup so i had to use a pump from a mid 80's truck then get custom hoses.

blazer, mark's engine was transplanted, there were no trucks with serpentine belts in the year era of this forum including your 69.
You will need to find a donor truck to 79 with a I6 and power steering for your parts. Most of us upgrade to power disc brakes at the same time.
