Headers?

Besides JBA and FRPP, who makes headers for the 3v V10? I have 2 sets of the FRPPs in front of me, and I'm not impressed with the quality. I'm going to try the JBAs, another brand that doesn't excite me, if there's nothing else out there.

You may want to rethink your desire for headers on a 3V V10.

First off, the stock manifolds are nearly headers and flow very well.

Second, Ford Racing has a set and they've been tried and dyno'd by captchas. He's done more to a 3V than just about anyone here. He got a whopping 12hp from his and it was all upstairs with a noticeable drop in the low RPM range.

Your dough but my personal belief is that it could better spent elsewhere...like a custom tune.

The FRPP ones look like crap. Trust me, I have 2 sets of them. The JBAs look to be a better design, more of an equal length setup. Since I'm not paying for them price is not really a concern, I'm just looking for the best product. The headers will only be one of many mods.

Post some pictures if you have 'em!

Here are some pics of some JBA tianium cermaic coated headers I saved from a thread a while back. I'm almost certain they are 3V headers and should give you a rough idea of what they look like.

Not yet, but probably by this spring. I just like to collect mods so I have them when I'm ready.

I've seen that thread. The JBAs look vastly superior to FRPPs I had.

I got a set of the ceramic Ford Racing headers. I got the passanger side installed but haven't got the driver's side done. I snapped a square easy-out off in one of the studs. Been fighting with that.

JBA, from what I've seen Banks and Gibson do not make headers for the 3v.
