got another OBS comming!
whats up fellas,
just got my 5k loan from the bank
and ill have another Powerstroke in the driveway here in the next week.
its a 1997 ford f-350 4x4 zf5 single cab LB. 300xxx miles on her dood whats 4k for it and i couldnt pass it up.
he is bringing it over tonight so i can give it a look over and ill have it home in a week or so
the only thing wrong with it that i know of is the snycros for 2nd gear are gone so it wont downshift into 2nd gear but i really dont care a hole to much.
you guys think its a good deal?
ill try and get some pics up tonight.

4k sounds like a good deal to me, price of 7.3 powerstrokes has realy been comming back up around here. as long as the truck is in good condition. also the no downshift into 2nd could be the clutch bushing as well. i think the prices are comming back up becouse alot of people offloaded the trucks due to the high fuel prices and are regretting it and also most people i talk to shy away from the 6.0's one guy i am freinds with who owns a dealership says he cant keep 7.3's on the lot right now but 6.0's and v10;s he cant hardly get rid of

well i got my truck on MONDAY and put 600 miles on it already. no troubles.
and i need some help with a few things.
1. when i turn the key on the radio and parking lights come on. and the dimmer switch wont work. lol
2. it had a defuser chip in it and i dont know how to hook all the stuff up, does anyone have directions to wire up a defuser chip?
3. the guy has the boost gauge hooked up to that rubber hose comming off of one of the heads with rubber line. and i dont think im getting a accurate reading. what kind or line did you run for your boost gauge and what size?
and thats about it for now.
heres a pic got some more in my gallery check it out.

looks like a nice truck
the boost gauge line normally gets t-ed into the map sensor line witch is how it sounds like it is hooked up
as far as the parking lights coming on with the radio iv never seen or heard of anything like that before, i have no idea. weird none the less

nice lookin truck mitch. bronco is right about boost "sample" location. i used 1/8" copper tubing for my boost gauge. dont worry, they sell in at napa, advance auto, pep boys. kit is about 10 bucks. did the guy wire them into the fuse panel? thats the only thing i can think of. good luck man

another thing, did the 97's come with 225HP or does that mean its a cali truck? cant quite rember if they bumped up in 97 or if its a cali truck.
