elctric transfer case shift 99F250SD
Has anyone had trouble w/ the shift on the fly transfer case switch or relay[s}? There is 1 pin on the motor plug that has constant voltage, otherwise nothing changes w/ the switch. The Maxi fuse is good, the owners manual shows 2 relays in the underhood center but they are not even part of that fusebox. Is there a relay somewhere else and is this a common problem. I'm stuck in 2WD. Thanks for any info

There are two relays, a "hi-to-low" and a "low-to-hi" relay, even though they are really for both hi and low range, more like "into 4x4" and "out of 4x4" relays. They reverse the direction of the shift motor.
They are in the two smaller boxes near the big distribution box by the master cylinder. I have a pic somewhere, but it might not be the same for the '99.
