Mirrors
I was thinking about putting some diffrent mirrors on my truck. I would like some larger mirrors like maybe the SD mirrors. Has anyone tried to put those on before or any other mirrors? I am just looking for some ideas

I was already thinking that I was going to have to do some modding. I'm not a big fan of the slip-on extensions. I always feel like they are going to fly off. Its hard to believe that no one has moded one of these trucks with bigger mirrors. I guess mine will have to be the guinea pig.

I have been thinking the same thing. And I think the slip on mirrors look kinda dumb if they are on when you are not towing. I might go to the junkyard and look for some SD mirrors and see if I can do some modding.

The easiest way to do something like that would be to swap the base that attaches to the door, since the F150 and 250 doors are different. I'm sure someone's done it, maybe they can chime in......

The options are endless when you are up to the work of modding. I just thought someone else had had a good experience with something in particular. I wonder how close the mirrors would be on the newer 150 to ours? Michael and I will have to post our progress when we are done. I know I will be on the look out for some mirrors now.
