Seriously though you would probably want something like a 347 small block stroker motor, roughly 400+ hp and similar level of torque (400+ ft lbs), and strong auto trans if that is your preference or a richmond five speed manual trans if you like stirring the trans fluid manually. Plus the necessary stuff to hook up with the blacktop. Dan.
You would also need suspension mods, custom drivetrains, etc.
BTW, and Mazda B2200 is not a Ranger. It is a classic Mazda, which does not use anything in common with the Ranger or 2nd gen Mazda B series. That being the case, there are lots of little things the guys on this forum are not familiar with. I am not sure what engines will fit in your truck.

Exactly, prior to that, Mazda had their trucks, and Ford had theirs, and they were not the same. The guys over at Mazda Forum - Mazda World.org are going to have much more relavent information. Most of their Mazda trucks section pertains to classic B series.
