I have a 71'f250 crew cab with a 44hd when i bought the truck from a the guy who owned it ,he said the truck had detroit lockers WELL the back did.. but the front was lincoln locked does anyone know if i can use a carrier out of a standard 44 and put it in the 44hd??? are the splines the same????? what about the axle size are they the same too.??? need help!!!

I can check the various bill of materials for your year(s) and model(s) to see where the different part #'s exist between the various axle biulds. Give me some time, we are doing inventory right now , so..............
