I have a 78 bronco a last december I replaced the master cylinder
today my brake pedal stoped coming all the way back to the top
I can feel the brakes draging and the brake lights wont go off unless I pull the pedal up with my foot the truck has been parked for about three months
is it the master again or could it be the booster this time
my 77 F150 did that after sitting for a long time. after about a week of pulling the pedal up with my toe after every stop, it became normal again. I figured the calipers were sticking and needed to free up with use.
Sometimes the calipers will stick, it is most likely the rear brakes though. Turn the drums, new shoes, AND new brake springs should eliminate the problem.
