2005 King Ranch wheel options

Hey, guys, I've posted for a while in the '61-'66 forum, now I'm looking for a good used '04-'05 King Ranch F-150.

Question: Is it possible to bolt up a Ford 16" or 17" allow wheel to the '04-'05 King Ranch? I used to have a '97 with the 17" factory alloys that I still LOVE, and I DO NOT like the 20" wheels I see mostly on the KR (sorry if I offended anyone! Dif'rent storkes for dif'rent folks!).

the 97-03's are 5 lugs, the new trucks 04-up are 6 lugs.

I don't think 16" will fit because of the brake clearance issues.

So you need to look for 17" or 18" F150 rims from 04 to the present. But if you buy an 04 or 05 King Ranch, it will come with 18" I believe. The 20" wasn't out until 06.

1. 97-03 truck wheels WILL NOT FIT a 04-08 F-150
2. 17" rim is the smallest you can fit on a 04-08 F-150 - due to brake caliper size

if you budget can handle a $16-18k truck...look into an 06 model. Right now these trucks are dirt cheap and you can likely pick up a 06 Lariat or KR with under 30,000 miles for under $20k. The Lariat most definately

but you'll have to hurry. once people recover from the gas shock and realize gas is cheaper, the prices will go back up
