OK... can anyone point me to a link where I CAN decipher it?
My best advice is to find out who made it first. The name of the brand should be somewhere on the carb.I'm going out on a limb and guessing you have a Holley, but I'm not sure.Once you find out what the brand is,go to their website and try to match it up.Depending on who makes it,they might have a decoder on there site.
Other than thinking a Holley 2100 being a very strange fitment on a 302, I usually associate 2100/2150 as being an Autolite/Motorcraft carb - sorry about that, I should've been clearer. More specifically, I guess I should have said a MC2150 judging by all outward appearances - raised float cover & choke pull-off.
The reason why I posted this was because a few months back I read a thread where one of the resident gurus was able to decipher the engineering number on the pedestal stamp for another member but I can't remember who it was and can't find the thread.
