i've got a 59ab engine with g21733 on the bellhousing. is there a date code somewhere? sorry i didnt just search that, but i have other questions:
my trans has these numbers: 59t 7006
wg
n 3
can you tell me what this trans is; and does this combo bolt directly in my 52 f1?
it has the emergency brake attached to the trans; and i think its from an earlier f1. thanks.
E-brake attached to the trans would indicate it is from a bigger truck, F2, F3, etc... Does the trans have a half-round mount for the crossmember? 59T 7006 is a casting number for a 4 speed non-synchro, I believe. My flatties have the serial number of the truck on the bellhousing, and a (date?) code on the rear portion of the block itself. Just my opinion.
thanks. my truck has a three speed. the trans mount seems to be part of the trans, as the shaft goes thru it?
the trans that is attached to the engine has the mount underneath. was wondering if i could drill my crossmember, or if the crossmember will need be replaced. not sure what my other truck has...it gets delivered tommorrow!
