WILL it FIT?

Will a 1980 Bronco steering wheel XLT fit my 1975 F-250,He said it would fit between 76-85. But I wonder if it would fit mine?

Nope it wont fit without serious modification. (Column swap etc)

Steering wheels are going from memory...

1972-1977

1978-1986

Technically, it will fit but you will have about a 1 inch gap between the steering wheel and steering column, your horn will not work, and you will have to manually switch your turn signals on and off. 81 F150 Explorer was correct, a 72-77 steering wheel would be a direct swap for your truck, 78-86 steering wheels are not. Also, some Econoline vans from that era used the same wheel that your truck has. I'm not sure on the years for the vans...maybe 73-77?

Don't the newer ones also have a gap in the splines? Where the older ones had splines all the way around?
