I am trying to determine the exact location of my IAC valve on my 4.6L V8 (XLT). I can't find anything online and i can't locate a local dealer nor anyone on-line dealer of this part. I live in Friendswood, TX.

Does anyone know the exact location of the part? And is there an option to buying the part from the Ford Dealer?

What is an IAC?

 

Idle Air Control Valve. On Mustang GT it was just aft of the throttle body...However, the 5.4L Service manual does not disclose it's location. It does call it the Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic as well...I'd call the dealer and see what they think.
