I recently had a glow plug failure on my 7.3l 1993 e350 so i removed all the fuel lines from the injector pump. i fixed the glow plugs and installed the fuel lines back on the motor. after that i put on two new fuel filters, the one under the hood(filled it up with fuel), and one under the cab(filled it up with fuel). went to fire it and it wouldn't start, no smoke at all. i started to crack the injector lines to check fuel and i was able to remove the lines completely from the injector with no fluid coming out. any ideas would be great.
You might have to let it crank a bit to fill up the lines to the injectors. Other than that, maybe the fuel cut solenoid has no power or has failed. Was it running previously to your removing the lines?

Gets my vote. Crack open the fuel feed line at the injector pump, crank untill fuel comes out with no air and tighten. Remember to crank for no longer than about 20secs and allow starter to cool before cranking again. Reconnect all the injector lines, leaving one loose at an injector, with a bit more cranking (assuming 12v at fuel shutoff solenoid as fjb2c says) the engine should start. Once started shut it off and tighten injector pipe and restart. We have all been there so good luck.
in an atempt to trace the problem down I have verified that I am getting fuel to the injecttor pump. I reinstalled the main feed line to the pump and with all the other injector lines disconnect I cranked the motor over, there is fuel coming out of each pump hole but not how I imagine it should. it is just sliglhty driping out of each hole as it goes around the firing order. how much pressure should this thing have? should it be flowing out at a good rate? if what im noticing is a problem what would be causing it? bad pump, air in the pump? im still lost with this thing.

The injection pump build pressure around 2000 PSI in the fuel lines.
But that is into the injectors that have springsand valves in them that cause the pressure to get that high.
At cranking speeds with the throttle closed, there is not much fuel delivered to each cylinder.
My Stanadyne pump (Chev/Ford) has a very fine screen AFTER the inlet pipe on the IP that can get clogged if proper maintenance on filters isn't done. The fuel rate coming out of the IP isn't going to seem like allot but it can be measured with the proper tools (pump test). Are your glow plugs working?
