The right decision
I spoke with a Tower contractor today about his 08 F250 4x4 CC and if he was enjoying it. He said yes and no. He loves the new interior and the extras it has over the 04-07 models but HATES the mpg at between 11 and 14 mpg. It made me feel a little better about my decision to buy the 2007 6.0 Lariat 4x4 CC back in Dec 06 because I was willing to wait a few months and buy the 6.4 but was advised by a FORD dealer not to. He must have had flash backs to when the 6.0 first became avaliable and its problems. I have never once reset the mpg display on the dash and its reading 17.2 mpg pretty dam good for a big *** truck that is completely stock. I must admit I do like the new F250 but that awful mpg would take some of the fun away. 25000 trouble free mls (knock on wood) and many more to come. Just need to stop my wife from accidently putting it 4 wheel high then driving all over town and then telling me that my truck drives like a BIG piece of *****.

Tell that guy to let me know if he wants to trade. He must drive in town most of the time or tow heavy. Reading through the 6.4 forum plenty of guys are getting better numbers than that.
