I recently bought a 92 F-250 and am in the process of helping out the performance of it. I put turbo injectors in it, re-built the i-pump (then turned it up and adjusted the power curve screw on the back), cleaned the lines, and installed a new lift pump. All in all she runs ok, but my question is wether or not it is worth while to put a turbo kit on it. A friend has a 94 turbo-7.3 which runs circles around mine with only some minor waste-gate work done to it. Does anyone offer a kit to convert mine into a turbo? Any help with where to turn would be appreciated.

My Buddy Has That Same Truck And He Went With Banks And It Runs Great You Should Go Down That Road

 

I agree, I just installed a used Banks Sidewinder kit on my truck and there truly is a night and day difference. My 93 7.3 has about 170,000 miles on it and has never been stronger now that it has been turbo'd. By the way if you do go with an after market kit it will run circles around the stock 94 turbo truck of your buddys.

 

If you are looking for a turbo, I might be able to help ya out. I'm looking to sell my turbo kit that I rebuilt not too long ago. Same reliability for less than half the price of a brand new kit. If you are interested, let me know.
