90 f150 4x4 lift

i want to do a small suspension lift on a 90 f150 4x4 lariat to accomidate 33 x 12.50s. does anyone have any suggestions. the front end is what really needs to come up. it also has dual front factory shocks what do i need to do with them. i was going to build the lift myself by dropping the spring cups and some other mods. any help would be great.
thanx

i installed a 2.5 inch tuff country lift on my 94 f-150. raises it up high enough to fit 33's, although i don't have any yet. rough country also makes a 2.5 inch kit.

Fiddy,
Does your truck have the front sway bar, and if so, how'd you deal with the drop down brackets? I put the same kit on my 94 and run into clearance problems between the brackets and the bottom spring mount.

If you don't care about clearance, then read this. You can gain an inch by installing a 1" body lift, how?, I don't know, I've just heard of it. Or, some of the major suspension manufacturers (Superlift, Tuff Country) make a 1.5" - 2" front spring lift. Which includes front springs only, and alignment bushings for the camber adjustment. It's pretty cheap, and it makes the truck level. It's possible to run a 33x12.50 on a 15x8 with this setup.
If you want clearance, check out this website for your fabrication needs. www.autofab.com
