v8 I6 swap
I want to swap a 351 cleveland with a strait 6 300. its in a swamp buggy. my question is the 351 is on an auto tranny and the strait 6 is standard. will i have to change the cam shaft in the strait 6 to run it with an automatic tranny? or will it work just fine. my first ford not sure of the year of the motor frame or any of it? any help will help.

well the cleveland was never placed in a truck so be very certain on what you have. if its a 351m the bellhousing wont match to the 300-6. if your building a swamp buggy with a 300-6 i would post build questions in that forum.
