can it work

Hey yall
i was wondering if the cab from a 55 f500 is the same size as the 100 and does anyone have pics of a 56 and earlier with a styleside bed on it

Im planning on slicing down a a built frame from a 79 f150 to use as a base plate cause i have already upgraded it for street just changed my truck plans, originally it was for 66 f100 custom i had started.

Any help, thanks

Yes the F-500 has the same cab as the F-100.

Welcome to the site! You may already know, but the 79's axles are wider than the 55 fenderwells. Not a deterrent, just a heads up. Good luck.
