What is the proper procedure for testing the GPR? I tested it yesterday, with the engine off there was around 1 ohm of resistance across the 2 big lugs and 12.15 volts. Turn the key on (no start)... voltage drops to nothing. Dead GPR?
To boot I think my batts are on their last leg- the last two times I've tried to start the truck (Saturday after sitting almost a week, and this morning after a cold night) it almost wouldn't turn over. I think this is gonna be expensive...
Test the big lugs for volts. One lead on battery ground, the other lead on the GPR. With the key off 1 lug should have 12 volts and the other 0. When the key is first turned on the post with 0 volts should jump to 12.
