ive got 385000 kilometres on my 1992 f250 HD with the 460 and its still running strong. Was used as a work truck with about 1.5 tons in the bed at all times. Pulled a trailer with that load quite a bit too. It was never driven nice either. I would say go for cause im pretty sure that it will hit 300000 for you. Im currently average 14.5-15 mpg but i did my exhaust myself and put a tonneau cover on it, so im saving a little on fuel. Ive personnaly put about 25,000 kilometres on it and im 17 so you can do the math.
