Batteries

I got my F250 labor day weekend 2006 and had to replace the batteries last december 2007. Well today I am looking at replacing the batteries again. Dealer can't figure it out either and this will be the second time under the 3yr/36,000 mile rule they have had to replace them. Anyone else have this kind of luck with batteries in a 6.0L diesel?
If that is all I have to worry about is replacing my batteries every year I will not complain, well not to much that is.

It's one of two things, bad batteries or they are discharging and cycling down too often. You may want to check the draw with the ignition off, and then the draw from one battery to another. You may have a short or resistance in the connecting wire.

Ford just called and said it was my alternator and they were going to replace it under warranty. They think it was the issue 10 months ago but nothing showed.
