Ya know this truck is a good example of why I like fords. In my case i could use a truck like this to pull the backhoe to a jobsite for a day. Go work it 12 hours that day, load it back up, tow it home, unhook the trailer and go hit the 1/4 mile strip after.
Looks to me....going by the license plates, British style houses + lorries, etc....that this V10 Dually is in Jolly Old England. I think gas is about $ 7.50 US Dollars @ US Gallon in Britain.
This guy must have more money than Conrad Black to run all them, there 10 cylinders.
I have driven over in Great Britain quite a few times in the past and the roads, in many cases are extremely narrow. Steering a huge truck like an F350 through the narrow byways would be extremely challenging....probably more so for the English drivers coming the opposite way and seeing this huge F series, Behemoth, whilst in their Sunbeam Rapiers, or whatever they drive over there now.
I recall driving on a couple of ultra narrow side roads while in Scotland in a little Peugeot, which would probably fit nicely in the box of that F350 (could use it as a dinghy) that were extremely narrow (little more than one lane), so steep I went down in first with the brake on.
These roads were in a fishing village that almost seemed to be built in to the cliffs. They actually used this village as scenic background in a movie called Local Hero, which BTW, is a good movie, if you're ever wondering what to rent at the DVD store. No car chases though.
