Steering Gear box
Has anyone changed out the steering gear box on there X.... ANy recommendations.. I have adjusted mone twice now over the last 3 years... I just want to replace it. X has over 100k miles..

Kind of new to this Excursion thing....How do you adjust the steering gear box? I am getting a lot of wandering all over the road...Just had it inspected and I was told everything was OK...Tie rods, ball joints etc...Is this something simple I can do?

There is an adjustment on top of the gear box and a jamb nut holding it. Loosen the jamb nut and turn the screw tighter, about a 1/4 turn at a time.
I haven't done it on the Superduty/Excursion platform. However I have done it on a few other trucks and A1 cardone hasn't let me down yet.
