I have a 2006 S-crew Lariat. I really love the truck as does my wife. I had a dual exhaust system put on with a nice mild tone and installed a Roush Cold air Intake and use a hypertech power programmer. I firmed up the shifts and left the octane alone and it does run much better than stock. I have a run I make which has several mild grades on it and it there is no doubt that it pulls better on the grades without dropping down out of the converter lockup than it did when in the stock tune. If this 5.4 was rated at 300hp from the factory, what is it getting now?
Another question regarding the 2009 f-150's:
Did Ford remodel the front door panels to get rid of that danged protrusion on the bottom front of the door that sticks out in the way of your feet when you are exiting. That has been my only complaint I have found on my 2006 and I hope I'm not the only one to notice it. If it only could have been reversed to the back of the door! Soooooo, got that off my chest!
