i purchased a 01 F250 v10 4x4 supercab long bed that was lifted and wasnt given any info on the lift.
Is there any way of me being able to find what size life and what brand life i have?? and tips on how i can find this information out?? what to look for? maybe some measurement i can make to find out what i have?? By the way the truck has 37" tires on 17inch wheels. Your help is much appreciated

Maybe post up a few pictures of the suspension.

What color is the trac bar bracket?
How many leafs are there in the front leaf packs?

As for height, on the passenger side of the front axle measure from the axle tube (right next to the spring perch) to the bottom of the frame rail (right by the bumpstop). Post up the measurement and I'll be able to tell you approx. how much lift you have.

ditto what DC said measurments will be the best way to tell. another guess is a 6 inch most people put 37's on a 6inch lift, 37's will fit a 4inch but will fill the wheel wells alot more. pictures will also help

With the 5 leaf pack and grey bracket I'd lean towards a 6.5" Pro Comp.

Do the hangers and shackles look stock?

Rear hanger and shackle are going to be stock, most likely.

If they were dropped down 3", they could be the Fabtechs.

W/O any pics, based on the description I think it's the Pro Comp 6.5".

That's right. It's a 6" on the Excursion. My bad.
