What Different Trim Packages Were Available For A 1973 F-100 ? ?
Was my F100 XLT Ranger the top of the line....or run of the mill.?

Yes, the Ranger XLT was top of the line in 1973. The trim levels were:
  1. Custom
  2. Ranger
  3. Ranger XLT
Also, there was an Explorer package which was available on Custom and Ranger models.
